I miss Davao! I miss my friends in Davao! Look at us a bunch of crazy people! But we are happy, I love my stay there almost eight months total freedom para sa akin yun. Coz I have friends na halos pareho pareho ang trip namin, we love photography, earth music, tribal dance, we love to explore the counter culture, discuss or talk about everything from philosophy to tae. At sa Davao, mas madali kong na express ang artistic side ko... well, i am a self proclaimed artist he,he huwag kokontra.
Iba talaga ang atmosphere ng Davao sa akin, kasi dun i can wear my black gown in broad day light! as in walang makikialam sayo or i can go to the mall with my retro/ ethnic or hippie style. Parang lahat ng tao dun sanay sa mga taong ganun, at madali nilang natatangap kahit yung mga bagong salta sa lugar nila.
I miss Matina Town Square! Halos gabi gabi kaming tumatambay dun ng mga kaibigan ko, we talked for hours or play tribal music with our tambol, rainstick, higalong etc. hangang abutin ng madaling araw. Its not a bastard city like Cebu kasi ang mga police dun friendly at hindi paranoid sa mga taong biglang gagawa ng spontaneous or lightning protest or art attack!
I miss Davao! I miss the punk scene, the gig, the sidewalk film showing, the katribu, the FnB, the scenery, the people, the food! wahhhhh i wanna go back to Davao!

oh.. been to Davao, 5 years ago.. stayed there for 1 month and sobrang ok ang Matina Town Square.. i'm with a band from manila, that plays at one of the hotel there.. kaya.. ayun.. halos gabi gabi.. inuman talaga.. and i noticed.. sobrang mura ng bbq sa davao..hehehe
